Alternative Medicinal Treatment in Southeast Asia
"Alternative Treatment in Southeast Asia" explores different overlooked medical practices across Southeast Asia that stem from local traditions, but are not integrated into dominant healthcare systems. The group looks at four treatments which are categorised into either "Self-Belief" (TCM, Massages) or "Natural Resources" (Traditional herbs, Daily snacks), tracing where these methods are practiced and their varying health benefits. The project proposes that there is unexplored medical potential in re-centering these localised medical traditions.
